MEASURING GUIDE

Common breast shapes

Not all breasts are the same shape, density or orientation. Some people haave asymmetrical breasts, which is perfectly normal and not uncommon. Accurate measurements mean you are one step closer to sewing a well fitting bra or bralette. If your weight fluctuates daily or monthly it is best to record multiple measurements and average them. Let's measure.

Tie a string or narrow elastic around your body at the over bust and under bust locations to create reference points.

Record your measurements 1-10 on the downloadable pdf.

Refer to your measurements everytime you experiement with a new pattern. Be sure to follow the suggestions of the pattern maker for optimal results.
