Hi I'm Doreen Simpson, founder and creator of Twisted Knickers.Design. I've been sewing most of my life and have been an English teacher nearly thirty years. I love sharing literature and language with my students as much as I love sharing lingerie making with you. Combining those two loves means I can create original, irreverent and playful fabrics for lingerie.

If you have a sense of humor, and you must because like me, you're making your own lingerie (late at night, staring naked into a mirror, harnessing your engineering mojo and swearing as you rip out a seam) then you need my fabrics to lighten the mood! Whether my designs make you giggle or blush, I hope you'll show your friends.

To accompany my short run fabrics, I have sourced high quality linings, elastics, closures and hardware. I hope you'll have as much fun making and wearing your intimates as I've had creating your kit.
